The work presents a statistical analysis of the hierarchical structure of 168 galaxy triplet systems in the local super cluster. For each triplet the closest pair of galaxies was identified, andfor 155 systems the hierarchy parameter λ was computed, by which the systems were dividedinto hierarchical, intermediate, and non-hierarchical ones. It is shown that hierarchical systemsare considerably more compact. At the same time, no significant differences were found in luminosity or in the mass-to-light ratio. Thus, the hierarchical structure of triplets primarily governs the spatial compactness of the system, but not its global physical characteristics.
