In the article, the history of mutual political relations of the Kokhan khanate with the two neighboring Uzbek khanates is covered on an analytical basis. The relationship between the khanate and the khanates of Bukhara and Khiva in the political processes is given in terms of the views and different aspects of historians of different periods, as well as the views of the rulers of the khanate regarding political cooperation with Bukhara and Khiva during their reign.
