The article provides an interpretation of the life and scientific heritage, as well as the socio-political views of the thinker of the Eastern Renaissance Abu Reyhan Beruni. The author conducts a comparative analysis of the historical and legal aspects of the issues raised in the development strategy of the New Uzbekistan. The political views of the scientist, which have advanced for thousands of years, have been studied and compared with today's reforms. The emphasis is also placed on the role and importance of ideas in the formation of civil society, in raising legal awareness, legal culture and spiritual values in society, in the study and popularization of the scientific heritage of Beruni.
