The article describes the scientific and theoretical foundations of the seizure of land plots for state and public needs. The analysis of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan related to the seizure of land plots for state and public needs was also carried out. In addition, the author has developed proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
