This article analyzes the historical and geographical demarcation of national and territorial boundaries in Central Asia in the 20-30s of the XX century and the geographical and geopolitical consequences of the division of the region into "nation-states". The analysis of this process describes the negative and positive aspects of the implementation of national-territorial delimitation, and provides feedback on them. The formation of independent democratic Central Asian countries, their geopolitical situation and economic integration processes related to this period are also mentioned.
