In the study, the physical parameters of open star clusters in Stock catalogue were analyzed. An inverse linear relationship between the color excess E(B–V) and the age of relatively youngclusters was found. A linear approximation of this relationship yields a negative slope of about−1.33, indicating that the cluster age decreases as the color excess increases. The average ageof the Stock open clusters was estimated by using a standard statistical approach (Log(age),≈7.69). The relationship between color excess and distance indicates that the most of the clusters are relatively nearby and exhibit low reddening (average 0.344). However, Stock 9 standsout as an exception, showing a large distance (3414 pc) and a comparatively low E(B–V) valueof 0.74. A comparative astrometric analysis of the DAML02 and Stock catalogs revealed significant dispersion in the spatial positions of clusters. This result highlights the necessity of revisiting the Stock open clusters using refined astrometric methods.
