This article presents information about the geographical location and natural features of Mingbuloqsoy. It also outlines the results of scientific research conducted with the help of modern tools and technologies (including GPS, Canon camera, Photoshop, Agisoft, and QGIS) during the study of rock art in the gorge of this stream. Notably, using Agisoft software, 3D models of several rock surfaces were created, while QGIS was employed to produce a map of the locations of the petroglyphs.The rock paintings of Mingbuloqsoy are made on the flat surfaces of shale rocks, using techniques such as pecking, scratching, and rubbing. Their styles vary — some are rendered in silhouette, outline, patterned, or schematic forms, depending on the artistic conventions of their time. In terms of weathering, the petroglyphs show varying degrees of tanning: heavily, moderately, or slightly darkened.The aim of this study is to establish the chronological framework of newly discovered rock art in the area, based on stylistic features, production techniques, content, and degree of sun exposure, while also offering comparative interpretations. As a result, it was determined that the rock paintings of Mingbuloqsoy date to several distinct periods: the Bronze Age, Early Iron Age (Saka-Scythian period), Antiquity, Early and Late Middle Ages, and the Modern era.
