Uric acid (UA) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels were markedly elevated, indicating enhanced purine metabolism and increased energy turnover in tumor cells. In contrast, the concentrations of calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron remained largely within normal limits.. However, the fact that magnesium levels were a little low suggested that energy metabolism was not working properly. Overall, the results showed that glioblastoma patients had a biochemical imbalance, and these factors could be used as possible prognostic biomarkers in the future.
