Treatment of diabetes mellitus is aimed at using measures aimed at reducing blood glucose levels. Due to the active components such as crocin, crocetin, safranal and zeaxanthin contained in saffron, it is in the center of interest of many scientists around the world. We also conducted an in vivo study to study the effect of the food additive “ASQAND” obtained from the stigmas of saffron introduced to Uzbekistan on diabetes mellitus. In this article, we present the results of our studies.
