The article presents the results of HPLC determination of the amount of some flavonoids, such as gallic acid, rutin, salicylic acid, quercetin and apigenin, contained in the plant Polygonum aviculare L., growing in local conditions. The article also discusses the importance of the plant knotweed (Polygonum aviculare L.) in the treatment of diseases in traditional medicine.
