Scientific ideas about the place of elements of geometry in elementary grades are given, and it provides theoretical support to students of higher education and teachers of elementary grades. Theoretical information about the role and importance of geometry is given. In writing this article, the topics of today's editions of elementary school books and previous editions were compared. The advantages and differences of the new edition books were highlighted. The impact of geometry concepts on child psychology was mentioned in the article. An attempt was made to clarify ways of forming logical thinking skills in children.
