This article describes the optimal solutions for the development of mental abilities, the organization of independent educational activities and the practical application of the knowledge of students of secondary schools in an innovative educational environment. Also, acceptable mechanisms of the methodology for solving interdisciplinary problems of mathematics and physics based on the competence-based approach are analyzed.
