Comparative conditions for the stabilization of hydrosol samples of polydisperse silica SiO2 nanoparticles in the size range up 66 to 375 nm are considered. Nanoparticles were obtained at the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan using a resource-saving technology for obtaining highly dispersed silica from metallurgical waste by ammonium fluoridation. The size of the nanoparticles was controlled using the NanoSight LM10 Marveln Panalytical NTA (nanoparticle tracking analysis) method. The effect of the dispersion degree of SiO2 nanoparticles on the dependence of the sedimentation stability of the hydrosol on the concentration of stabilizing anionic surfactant up 40 to 100 mg/l is shown. The more polydisperse the nanoparticle samples, the higher the required concentration of surfactant in the range up to the critical concentration of micelle formation to achieve a given level of stability.
