The study of the mechanisms of organization and compensation of the structure and function of the liver is of great practical importance for the development of new methods for correcting various pathological conditions. In particular, in patients with cirrhosis, the use of methods of influencing the processes of liver regeneration is advisable both for the treatment of the disease itself and its complications, and for preparation for orthotopic liver transplantation. Analyzing the obtained morphological data, the authors conclude that bleeding is not an indifferent situation for the morphofunctional state of the liver. The prevailing inadequate conditions for the liver in post-hemorrhagic ischemia ultimately force its cells and vascular structures to adapt. A special role in the adaptation of the body to these conditions belongs to the microcirculation system, which is responsible for ensuring metabolism in tissues and hemodynamic homeostasis
