Abu Hafs Nasafi’s “Kitab al-Qand” is one of the most informative sources on the development of hadith in Mawarannahr in the VIII-XII centuries. This source was listed among the lost works until the early twentieth century. His discovery was a major breakthrough in the history of the development of hadith in Central Asia.
