Annotatsiya

Menopause is defined as the last spontaneous menstruation (PM). Natural menopause reflects the final cessation of menstrual cycles due to the loss of follicular activity of the ovaries. It is a retrospective clinical diagnosis established after 12 consecutive months of amenorrhea (absence of menstruation). Climacteric syndrome is a complex of vegetative-vascular, psychological, and metabolic-endocrine disorders that occur in women against the background of fading (or sharp loss) of the hormonal function of the ovaries and general aging of the body. The menopause period is characterized by a gradual decline and subsequent "shutdown" of ovarian function. The article provides a review of the literature on the modern perspective of Menopausal Metabolic Syndrome, highlighting important aspects of aging criteria, the role of a healthy lifestyle in ensuring a smoother transition during this period for women. It also focuses on women’s eating behaviors and the impact of latent anxiety-depressive disorders on the development of bulimic episodes.
