This article discusses important areas of development of a methodological system for teaching specialized disciplines in technical higher educational institutions, teaching general professional disciplines in the information educational environment. The main feature of teaching general professional disciplines at the university is the complex theoretical foundations of the composition and mode of operation of various real technical devices and systems that students have not encountered in practice.
