This article discusses the psychological aspects of volleyball, which is the leader in popularity among outdoor games. Volleyball as a sports game is characterized by great emotional saturation, therefore the psychological characteristics of the volleyball player’s activity are determined by the nature of the game actions, the objective features of the competitive struggle. And another aspect that is important in volleyball is the serve, which has a very strong impact on the psychological state of the team.
