In the article, a vertical-spindle cotton picker was recommended, which is planted with 76 cm row spacing, triples 85-90% open cotton bolls, provides up to 93% harvesting in one pass, up to 3-4% spilled cotton residue and up to 8% cotton pollution (according to the requirements of state standards).
