This article presents data from a study of irrigated meadow soils with varying degrees of degradation common in the Syrdarya Region. An increase in dehumification was observed in all soil types studied. As soil degradation increases, the near- and labile forms of humus reserve convert to the potential form by 1.4-2.8 times compared to less degraded soils.
