The article deals with the application of compensation for moral damage in private international law. The concept of conflict is studied and the application of conflict rules in the relations of compensation for moral damage is considered. As a result of the analysis of articles 1194 and 1195 of the Civil code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, proposals were made to improve these norms.
