The article is devoted to the current problem of increasing the efficiency of translation into Russian of the shock entertainment technique in the Uzbek and French media. The purpose of the article is to study the existing translation tools and methods in order to develop, on their basis, our own model of the most appropriate translation strategies. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature and news materials of the Uzbek and French media, induction, deduction, complex analysis and modeling. The author of the article, using practical examples of translating into Russian materials of the Uzbek and French media containing shock tament, demonstrates the efficiency of applying the model of translation strategies developed by him, which includes: syntactic assimilation (literal translation), specification, generalization, antonymic translation, compensation and modulation (semantic development). According to the author of the article, the model is highly effective and is suitable for both beginners and experienced translators to use in their work.
