In this article, the author examines the concept of illegal migration, identifies the main causes of illegal migration in the world, and also studies current trends in illegal migration. International legal documents, legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and foreign countries relating to illegal migration are analyzed and issues of combating illegal migration are also considered.
