The article examines the linguistic features of gender communication. The gender marker in works of fiction by Italian and Uzbek authors is compared. The structural formation of gender is described both in a particular case and in a general sense. The following aspects of gender linguistics are analyzed: masculine, feminist, gender itself, psycholinguistic, cross-cultural, sociolinguistic directions. The systemic similarities and differences between male and female characteristics of speech and language, and their integration through the prism of an artistic work of two different systems languages are described.
