This article discusses the basics of state policy in the field of youth employment, the activities of competent state bodies and issues related to current trends in this area. The article analyzes the institutional practice of regulating the youth labor market in foreign countries, the specifics of ensuring youth employment on the basis of relevant regulatory documents and targeted programs. The study also summarizes the reforms carried out in recent years to effectively address the problem of youth in our country, increase the employment of young people and women. In addition, scientific work put forward proposals for the implementation of youth policy in the Republic of Uzbekistan in particular: reducing employment, ensuring youth occupation, improving effective legal regulation of activities in the labor market.
