The analysis of the structure of polymers, in particular polyamide, was carried out, the procedure for sampling for examination was shown, and the chemical composition was studied. The studies were carried out by chemical and physico-chemical methods, in particular, on an IR-Fourier spectrometer. It turned out, that more accurate information about the nature of polyamide, about its physical and chemical properties, can be comprehensively analyzed by burning the polymer material in a fire. Methods for determining their type (thermoplastics and thermoplastics) by heating polymers are shown. The qualitative and quantitative composition of polyamide has been studied. As a result of the study, it was shown that goods are classified according to the corresponding codes according to the commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity.
