This article provides information on the causes of gastrointestinal diseases, synthetic drugs used in the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, chemical composition of the aloe plant, extraction of nutritional supplements from the aloe plant,and the antioxidant properties of the food supplement obtained from the aloe plant. In addition, methods for treating diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with the help of natural food supplements in traditional medicine are presented.
