This scientific paper examines the issues of finding effective management of pre-competitive training of highly qualified karate players, considering the introduction of virtual reality tools into the training process. The technique of using virtual reality (VR) tools in the construction of the educational and training process in karate is described. The structure of the model of the pre-competitive stage of training highly qualified karate players is given, in compliance with the basic laws of the formation of sports skills. Improving the structure of the training process, with the inclusion of innovative tools and methods for building the training process, considering adequate management.
