This article analyzes the theoretical approaches of sociological scientific schools in studying leadership, their role in the training of young managerial personnel, the relevance of developing leadership competencies among youth in modern society, and the significance of these processes within the contemporary socio-pedagogical environment. The study identifies key approaches to training promising young leaders based on the theories developed by scholars such as R.F.Bales, Fred Fiedler, G.Fairholm, A.E.Podobin, and Yu.S.Dubro. The author examines leadership not only as a structural or positional phenomenon but also as a system of personal values, social activity, and mutual subjective relationships. The article highlights the effectiveness of pedagogical and psychological conditions used in working with youth, including methods such as self-governance, training, role-playing games, and sociometric analysis. Furthermore, the article explores practical aspects through the example of regional youth policy tasks, youth governments, and leadership development technologies within educational institutions. The findings of the study substantiate the necessity of a comprehensive and systematic approach to the training of young managerial personnel.
