The article examines the relationship between Islamic ethics and the concept of green finance as a tool for achieving sustainable development. Islamic ethics, based on the principles of Shariah, emphasizes social justice, responsibility to the environment and sustainable use of natural resources. These principles are becoming particularly relevant in the face of global climate change and environmental challenges. The authors analyze how Islamic financial instruments such as sukuk (Islamic bonds) and microfinance can be adapted to finance environmentally friendly projects and initiatives. The role of Islamic financial institutions in supporting sustainable practices and investments in renewable energy and environmental projects is explored. The article also emphasizes the need to integrate Islamic principles into global climate change strategies. It concludes that Islamic ethics can be an important factor in shaping green financial solutions to help create a more sustainable future for all. The paper will be useful for researchers, practitioners in the fields of finance and environment, and anyone interested in sustainable development and the application of Islamic principles in today's world.
