The study of stylistic potential of number component phraseological units in different discourses plays one of the most significant roles in linguistics. The aim of the study is to analyze the stylistic potential of number component phraseological units in different discourses in English and Uzbek and this study focuses on the number component phraseological units in English and Uzbek. In this study the research methods include comparative, semantic and cognitive, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. This study illustrates the communicative effectiveness and stylistic impact of number component phraseological units in different discourse contexts. The article is focused on stylistic analysis of 72 phraseological units with number components in English and Uzbek collected from English and Uzbek phraseological dictionaries by several authors. The findings highlight the stylistic potentials of number component phraseological units and their functions in different discourses in English and Uzbek, as in numerous discourses phraseological units with number components function to create stylistic effects, such as expressiveness, imagery, exaggeration, metaphorical depth, humor, irony, satire and etc. This article delves into the analysis of number component phraseological units and their stylistic potential in different discourses.
