This article is devoted to the development of innovative methods and technologies in teaching English. Problem solving methods such as Case study, Basket method, Metaphor method, Problem solving method, Expert method, Project method and debating can enhance students vocabulary, evolve language skills and consequently critical thinking experience. Modern teaching methods modify the role of the teacher from the transmission of information to the organizer and coordinator of the educational process and make it possible to form complex competencies in the future.
