Modern approaches to defining translation quality are analyzed, and the main criteria for evaluating students’ translation performance, including cognitive, linguistic, and functional-communicative aspects, are identified. A comprehensive methodology for evaluating translation products is proposed, integrating traditional and digital tools. The pedagogical testing demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed approach in developing students’ professional competencies.
