This article provides a comparative analysis of the works of the 20th century's leading storyteller, Roald Dahl, with the children's books of contemporary author David Walliams. Furthermore, it compares particular features of their works and the portrayal peculiarities of children's characters. It also compares their narrative techniques, writing styles, and the use of linguistic and literary elements.
