Morphofunctional status and dynamics of physical fitness of persons engaged in national sport kurash

Purpose: to reveal the differences in the morphofunctional status and dynamics of physical readiness of wrestlers of Uzbekistan by weight categories and to assess the readiness of kurash wrestlers for the purpose of sports selection at the stage of sports improvement. Material and Methods: the physical fitness of 66 kurash wrestlers aged 16-17 with the sports qualifications “candidate for master of sports” and “master of sports” was assessed. In order to identify individual terms for the wrestlers to reach a certain level of qualification, questionnaires, protocols of competitions, regulatory documents and reference books for assigning sports categories and titles were studied. Obtained results: It was revealed that on average kurash wrestlers spend 4 to 8 years to fulfill the sports qualification of a candidate for master of sports, and from 6 to 10 years to reach the level of a master of sports. It was found that the duration of preparation of rapidly trained kurash wrestlers to the level of candidates for master of sports and master of sports is significantly less (p <0.05) than the duration of training for slowly trained kurash wrestlers. When studying the transverse dimensions, reliably large values of the transverse diameters of the lower epiphyses of the thigh and lower leg were found in rapidly trained kurashists aged 16-17, compared with slowly trained athletes, their shoulders were narrower and narrower than the pelvis. The study of body proportions by the method of N.P. Bashkirova revealed that among quickly trained kurashists aged 16-17, wrestlers of the mesomorphic type prevail (39.5%), whose anatomical features of the body approach the average parameters of the norm; 26.3% of sambists are dolichomorphs.Conclusions: In wrestling, athletes should be selected on the basis of their most fully expressed morphological and functional characteristics and competitive activity, and the main criteria for selecting sportsmen for a national and regional team should be based on the results of one or several competitions. Before making such a choice, it is necessary to pay attention to the results of the previous selection: it can be minimal or sufficiently large, then in the first case the sportsman will not be able to restore his physical and mental potential, and in the second case, not planning the training process will lead to his loss. To avoid such a situation, first of all, it is necessary to have objective selection criteria that describe the functional, physical and mental potential of the fighter.
