This article analyzes the relationship between language and culture, the essence of the concept of culture, cultural value, its role in society and its main types within the framework of the theoretical foundations of linguoculturology. Cultural values arose in the process of historical formation of human thought and activity, and their importance in the stability and development of society is considered. It is also said that language serves as the main communicative tool in organizing and implementing social existence, that any language, when used in the process of communication, works with its versatility and complexity depending on the cultural context, and that each word used by a person in the process of speech arises based on a common cultural and social experience. When nations imitate another nation culturally, they usually also adopt their words and expressions. In this case, terms related to customs, beliefs and cultural values are especially subject to adoption. The main content of the article is that a person expresses not only information or reality through language, but also his personal worldview, views and beliefs, values specific to a social group.
