The article is devoted to the consideration of modern CADtechnologies in teaching drawing geometry and engineering graphics in highereducation. The importance of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Comp-3D programs forgraphic production, construction of projections and three-dimensional models isanalyzed. The role of digital technology in developing students' spatial thinking andimproving the quality of graphics is emphasized. Problems in the implementation ofCAD systems in the educational process and ways to overcome them are described
