This article presents a semantic analysis of anthroponymic components within phraseological units in English and Uzbek. The study used techniques of comparative-contrastive, semantic analysis, qualitative data, discourse, and cultural analysis, and explored semantic similarities, differences and equivalences between phraseological units. By comparing both languages, the importance of anthroponymic components in a social, historical and cultural context is determined. The article proposes new methodological approaches based on the correspondence or differentiation of phraseological units. These approaches contribute to a deeper understanding of the linguistic and cultural richness of phraseological units. The results of the study expand the existing scientific knowledge in the fields of linguistics and cultural studies and make it possible to see more clearly the connections between phraseological units. The results obtained in the work provide new opportunities in the study of the relationship between language and culture. The study is also of great importance in understanding the place of phraseological units in the expression of social and cultural values, showing their important role in linguistics and literary studies.
