Annotatsiya

The purpose of the study is to characterize the functional state of the body of senior schoolchildren depending on their level of motor activity. A comprehensive survey of 255 high school students enrolled in the 10th grade of Nizhny Novgorod schools was conducted. The complex of examination of children included a pediatrician's examination, life history collection, anthropometry and instrumental research methods (pedometry, bioimpedance study and analysis of hemodynamic parameters). The daily number of locomotions of schoolchildren in the process of daily activity was measured with an electronic pedometer. Measurements were carried out throughout the day for 7 consecutive days. Noninvasive functional testing of the human body was carried out using the "MedicalSoft Sports Testing System" (MS FIT – 01). We have identified 3 groups of schoolchildren depending on the average daily volume of steps taken. The first group included high school students who walk less than 5,000 steps per day, the second – demonstrating a daily distance of 5,000 to 10,000 steps, and the third – more than 10,000 steps per day. The conducted research allowed us to show that more than half of the surveyed contingent of 10th grade students (54.3%) are characterized by motor activity in the range from 5,000 to 10,000 steps per day, and a quarter of schoolchildren can be classified as "inactive" (less than 5,000 steps daily). At the same time, the boys turned out to be more active compared to the girls. An assessment of the influence of the health group on locomotor activity showed that the maximum level of motor activity was possessed by persons of the first health group, however, real functional limitations rarely caused a decrease in activity in schoolchildren of other groups. It was also found that the increased motor activity of high school students is combined with increased reserves of the pumping function of the heart, as evidenced by the analysis of the cardiac index and minute blood volume.
