Darsni rejalashtirish ta’lim jarayonining ajralmas qismi bo‘lib, o‘qituvchining o‘quvchilarga eng samarali va maqsadga muvofiq tarzda bilim va ko‘nikmalarni etkazish imkonini beradi. Har bir darsni rejalashtirish, o‘qituvchidan nafaqat o‘quv materiallarini tanlash, balki o‘quvchilarni motivatsiya qilish, ularning ehtiyojlarini hisobga olish va o‘qitish jarayonini interaktiv qilishni ham talab etadi. Rejalashtirish jarayoni o‘qituvchi uchun yo‘l-yo‘riq bo‘lib, o‘quvchilarning qanday o‘rganishini, qanday maqsadga erishishini va qaysi metod va vositalardan foydalanishni aniq belgilash imkonini beradi. Shu tariqa, samarali dars rejalashtirish o‘quvchilarning bilim olish jarayonini yanada soddalashtirib, ularni muvaffaqiyatga erishishga yo‘naltiradi. Bu jarayonni rejalashtirishda e’tiborga olinadigan eng muhim jihatlar o‘quvchilarning ehtiyojlari, o‘qitishning metodikasi, va taqdim etiladigan materiallarning samaradorligini ta’minlashdir.
