This article explores the formation, development, and research directions of Uzbek phraseology. It examines the semantic, grammatical, and stylistic features of phraseological units and their role in the language system. Special attention is given to leading researchers in Uzbek phraseology and their scientific contributions. The study also focuses on borrowed phraseological units, author-specific phraseologisms, and historical phraseological expressions
