This article analyzes the issue of the harmony between discipline and freedom in theatrical art. The author substantiates the importance of strict discipline in the acting process alongside the necessity of creative freedom. It also highlights how the balance between inner freedom and external control on stage enhances the expressive capabilities of an actor. Through examples from theatrical practice and theory, the interrelation between discipline and freedom is revealed, emphasizing that their harmonious combination leads to effective creative outcomes.
