The article examines, from the perspective of cultural studies, the significance of regional styles formed in Uzbek traditional singing in shaping the cultural needs of the individual. Using the examples of the Fergana, Bukhara, and Khorezm singing schools, the study aims to theoretically substantiate the relationship between regional musical styles and an individual’s aesthetic taste, cultural identity, and cultural needs. The inseparable connection between personal cultural needs and regional culture is explored.
