This article is devoted to the development of students' language skills through written exercises in teaching English and the formation of the skills of accurate expression and interpretation of ideas. The main features of writing in English language teaching, the difficulties that are encountered in the development of writing skills and how to overcome them are explained in the framework of examples and writing exercises. It is to reveal and explain the basic principles and features of writing exercises in teaching English. Overcoming Specific Difficulties in Performing Written Exercises Methods of studying the types of written exercises and applying them throughout English language teaching were analyzed. Methods and forms of using writing exercises to develop writing skills in English language teaching are justified. Through it, you will develop the skill of writing using a variety of writing exercises in English.
