This article aims to analyze the role and effectiveness of literary works in the process of learning English. In addition to traditional methods of teaching English, such as grammar and vocabulary exercises, the advantages and disadvantages of using literary works to learn a language are considered. The article examines how literary works help develop listening, reading and writing skills in language learning, as well as their role in introducing students to cultural and social contexts.
