This article discusses the role of tasks and games in learning English, highlighting their importance in the language acquisition process. Alongside traditional methods, interactive tasks and games can increase students' engagement, facilitate the practical application of the language, and enhance learning effectiveness. The article focuses on various forms of tasks in English language teaching (such as sentence construction, vocabulary expansion, and communication skill development) and types of games (such as role plays, quizzes, and conversation games). Through games and interactive tasks, psychological barriers to language learning are reduced, and the learning process becomes more engaging and effective. Furthermore, the article presents the didactic aspects of games and tasks, along with recommendations and methodological approaches for their effective application.The article proves that using games in the educational process can not only increase students' enthusiasm for learning a language, but also strengthen cooperation and communication among them. The author emphasizes the importance of reducing stress and creating a positive language learning environment through game-based lessons. The article is useful for English language teachers and methodologists, helping them explore pedagogical techniques aimed at making the language learning process more dynamic and engaging.
