This article analyzes the methodology and methods of teaching reading and writing using information and communication technologies (ICT). Today, as a result of the rapid introduction of digital tools into the educational process, the search for effective methods for developing students' literacy skills at all stages of education is becoming increasingly important. The study highlights the advantages of teaching reading and writing using ICT, including increasing students' interest in reading, strengthening an individual approach, and facilitating the process of mastering through visual and interactive materials. The article also provides scientific and practical recommendations on the effective use of existing technologies – educational applications, e-books, online platforms, multimedia programs – in the educational process and their results. The possibilities of ICT to accelerate and make the process of learning interesting for students using electronic textbooks, interactive platforms, audiovisual tools, and gamified technologies are highlighted. In the conclusion, the article argues that innovative approaches to teaching reading and writing using ICT provide a new qualitative stage in education. At the same time, it is proposed to improve the skills of teachers in using ICT and to develop the use of information technologies at the level of state policy.
