Annotatsiya

The article examines the structural and semantic features of stable expressions of religious origin in the Russian and Uzbek languages. By means of semantic and etymological analysis of the components of these units, their historical-etymological, structural and contextual features, religious affiliation are determined, and the cultural uniqueness and national specificity of the thinking of the Russian and Uzbek peoples are revealed through the analysis of lexical components, syntactic structure, and rhythmic organization of these units. It is substantiated that stable expressions formed on the basis of naive religious ideas and mythology of the people, as well as superstitious views, demonstrate associative harmony with religious views, and therefore belong to the category of religious phraseology.
