This article explores the effectiveness of using authentic materials from YouTube to teach vocabulary to B2-level students. It emphasizes the importance of real-world contexts in language acquisition, particularly through multimedia resources that engage learners. The research analyzes various YouTube channels and videos, assessing their suitability for vocabulary instruction. The findings suggest that authentic materials not only enhance vocabulary retention but also improve listening skills and cultural awareness. Practical strategies for integrating these resources into lesson plans are provided, along with recommendations for selecting appropriate content that aligns with learners' interests and language goals.
