Статья посвящена методике обучения русскому языку в технических вузах Республики Узбекистан. Выполнен анализ актуальных проблем преподавания русского языка студентам инженерных специальностей. Отмечена важность поддержания мотивации студентов к изучению русского языка как иностранного. Перечислены способы повышения мотивации и интереса к предмету изучения. Рассмотрены приемы использования в процессе преподавания русского языка информационных и коммуникационных технологий. Подчеркнута важность изучения русского языка как на общем уровне, так и на уровне специальной технической и научной терминологии.
